Clothes: Mostly 6-9 months. You still fit in most of your 3-6 outfits and dresses but only 6-9 sleepers and onsies (partially due to your cloth diapers)
Diapers: Medium rise on Cloth. Size 3 disposables.


Milestones: 
You now say Mama and Dada! The one and only time we tried Cry It Out with you you were not happy and started screaming MAMA!!! and holding your arms up for me when I came in (because who can resist that??) You lunged for Dada often and would say his name too:)

You sit up unassisted like a pro now! No toppling unless you want to be on your tummy:) I love that I can just sit you down where ever I am without a baby chair in every room:)

You are mobile! You arent really crawling yet but you can roll and simi scoot to get to things you want now. Youre getting frustrated that you havent figured out crawling yet because your mind wants to be places so much faster than your body can get you there just yet. Youre on the verge of a breakthrough though!

We had a cold AGAIN this month but it wasnt as bad as the last time thank goodness.

You are on and off with solids it seems. Sometimes you eat them really well. Other times you cant stand them. Youve started shaking your head "no" when I try to give them to you most of the time.You also shake "no" just for fun. You think it's a blast!

Your poop schedule is getting better than it was last month so that is good!

Youve MASTERED the sippy cup and LOVE water. I have to limit your intake now because I dont want you to substitute it for breast milk but you LOVE to drink it which is nice since its so hot out!

First successful attempt at staying in the Church Nursery. You did pretty good for not having a nap!

One year anniversary of when we found out that you were a "she" :)

Youve started grabbing our DVDs off the shelf and it's become a quick favorite thing to do.

You got your ears pierced!!! Daddy's condition to agree was that you sleep one whole night in your crib. The day after you finally did it I took you (by myself, daddy couldnt see you cry) to Claire's at the mall. You didnt do as well as Id hoped and cried pretty hard for about 10 minutes (and for 10 minutes I felt like a terrible mom). But as soon as we went outside you were all smiles and they didnt seem to bother you from then on. You pull the tops of your ears (and have for a while) when you nurse but other than that you leave the earrings alone.

You can sit up like a big girl in the bath tub! We retired the tub that forced you to lay back (because you wouldnt lay back any more) and put you in the toddler tub. You really love to play with your tub toys now too!

You have eaten watermelon in chunks (your first finger food) and LOVED it! Not a lot got in your tummy, mostly you chewed it up and spit it out after you sucked on it for a while. but you got all messy and had a blast playing with it.

You throw up often with solids (purees). I think you have a very sensitive gag reflex.... Must be why mine was so sensitive when I was pregnant:)

Youve gotten really sophisticated (ok well MORE sophisticated) in your play now. You want specific toys, you get bored with playing with something over and over and youre really intrigued with new things.

You can sit in a high chair at a restaurant and shopping carts now.

You talk to yourself quite a lot:) I love it!

You love to shake your head!

Your new favorite song is the Veggie Tales Theme Song and I often have to sing it loudly and over and over in the car because when youre upset about being in your carseat its the only thing that calms you. Not just ANY song, it has to be veggie tales and IIII have to be the one singing haha.

You grin your head off no matter your mood as soon as your daddy walks in the door!

Nothing gets you smiling quite like doggies or other kids. You are so social!

You blow "raspberries" on my arms or shoulder. Sometimes you just buzz your lips in general haha.

In Other News:
Sleep is off and on... You start out the night in your crib but usually end up in bed with me by 1 or 2 simply because I cant get you to stay asleep in your crib longer than that.

Solids are still shakey.... Some days are better than others but you have a strong gag reflex and often throw up what youve eaten once you gag....

Youre still the LIGHT of our life. We couldnt imagine one minute without you in it!
