Tonight your daddy held you while I went about picking a few things up before bedtime. As I was throwing a pair of dirty socks into the hamper your daddy told me to tip toe close but stay out of sight. I peered over the corner and he laughed and said you were looking for me. I watched in awe as your little blue eyes darted frantically all over the room; clearly you were in search of something. I thought that you were just looking around and you were too young to be looking for me. Boy was I wrong! As soon as I got into your field of vision your precious eyes locked on mine. As soon as you saw me your face lit up with the most BEAUTIFUL dimpled smile.

I couldnt help myself. I came right over to you and the closer I got the wider your smile became until at last I was right next to you and you let out an adorable laugh. You were so clearly happy to see me and just started cooing like crazy! I couldnt help it. The tears just started pouring out of my eyes. Daddy said "Are you drooling on me??" I laughed and told him no, I was just so in love with you that I couldnt keep my happiness in. I stood over you, so happy in your daddy's arms, and laugh-cried for the next five minutes as you cooed away at me. My heart just wanted to burst for the love I felt for you. You KNEW me! You WANTED me! In the midst of a crazy Mississippi tornado watch, in a hotel room, you knew who I was and you loved me. Have I told you lately how much I ADORE you and being your mommy? God truly blessed me when he put you into my tummy. You are the most amazing child and my heart just melts with my love for you. You are a gift little one. No matter where life takes you or what may happen always remember how deep my love is for you. It started from the first day I knew you existed in my womb and it just grows stronger every day.
