I am now able to deliver at an amazing birth center in town with an awesome midwife! Im so looking forward to getting the full enjoyable birth and bonding that I didnt get to totally have with your sister. The part Im looking forward to the most is the postpartum mommy and me herbal bath. That just sounds like newborn blissful heaven and not only do dad and I get to give you your first bath, I get to do it totally skin to skin with you! It just sounds so sweet! I have a feeling your delivery may be a bit harder on me than Allies was just based on braxton hicks contractions, but I think we can do it buddy! I just pray for your health no matter what and cant wait for you and Allie to meet for the first time!
Third Trimester Symptoms:
Honestly little man, I dont have much to complain about! As far as symptoms go the occasional food aversions and cravings, some mild heartburn (nothing nearly as bad as with your sister though), a TON of frequent urination because youre so much lower, but if it werent for your constant movement and huge belly Id never know I was pregnant!
You move A LOT! Youre a MUCH harder kicker than your sister ever was. It looks like and alien is in my belly from 9pm on! I can literally distinguish what body parts of yours youre sticking out because I can physically see them! I have a feeling you wont enjoy being swaddled because youre clearly uncomfortable in the womb haha.You move the most when I lay down or Im hungry (guess youre hungry too haha).
I havent gained much weight this pregnancy but youre growing well. I need to eat more Im sure, but some days its just hard to get enough in. Ive gained about 18 lbs so far at 35 weeks pregnant, I think I was up by 25 Lbs last time around at this point. But then again I wasnt running around after your 1 year old sister yet either ;-)
Im carrying WAY different with you than I did with Allie but I LOVE our baby belly! Its so low and out and basket ball like! I also appreciate that youre not in my ribs like your sister was haha.
We havent had an ultrasound of you since you were 17 weeks (and still very tiny) so Im super excited to see what you look like once you get here! I cant wait for the moment of your birth and getting to hold you for the first time sweet boy. I feel likeIve gotten to know you so well as you kick and punch your way through third tri and Im so excited to snuggle and nurse you and just get to know you and watch you grow up into the wonderful man I pray youll one day become. You have an amazing example and my greatest prayer is that when you grow up youll be just like your father (at least in his morals, kindness, ambition, and hard work). He is the kind of man I want your sister to marry and you to be for some wonderful woman some day. I just pray Im the kind of mother that can help guide you to manhood in such a graceful way. I wont be perfect and neither will you, but I cant wait for our journey together. Im so excited for my mamas boy! Stay comfy and safe in there little man, but when youre good and ready (preferably later rather than sooner) feel free to make your grand entrance into this wonderful family. I pray Im the kind of mother you need and deserve. I love you buddy!
