6 Weeks

How far along? 6 Weeks!

Weight gain/loss: Ive gained about 2 lbs. My starting weight was 118 and I am now 120ish. Though Ive been drinking Ensures due to my doctors advice and that is probably the cause for the weight gain.

Maternity clothes? No, too early still. But I have major bloat at night so I did buy 2 pairs of comfy stretch pants and one long undershirt for when I need to hide unbuttoned pants.
Stretch marks? Way too early.

Symptoms? My boobs are about a half a cup size bigger than normal and have been pretty tender since I found out I was pregnant. Im fatigued ALL the time. I usually sleep for 12 hours in the evening and still take a nap during the day. One little bout of morning sickness this week when I was in the shower. I kind of felt "off" for the rest of that day but Ive been better since. Also a lot of trips to the bathroom.

Best moment this week? Oddly enough, experiencing a little morning sickness was a bit reassuring. But the best moment this week will be our first ultrasound this Friday! I cant wait!

Food cravings: I ate a lemon this week. Weird I know but it was SO good. Other than that sour/salty stuff like pickles, salt and vinegar chips, citrus fruit. I cant say if it is baby related or just me though. Ive always had cravings.

Gender: Dont know yet! R says it's a girl, my mom says it's a girl, my mother in law says it's a boy, my dad doesnt have a clue and I have no clue either. Initially I thought girl, then I thought boy, now I just dont know!

Belly button in or out? In for sure.

Movement? Too early:(

What I'm looking forward to: This first ultrasound and hearing/ seeing the babies heart beat. It will be so nice to feel like this is actually real and going to happen!

Weekly wisdom: Taking one day at a time helps one get through the rollar coaster of first tri. Im so ready to be past this one!

Milestones: Having a little morning sickness! But like I said, the big one will be the ultrasound!

Baby size: Baby is the size of a sweet pea right now!

Here is a picture of my bloat belly at 5 weeks. It's just me, not the baby but I look pretty big already here! In the mornings I look the same as I did pre pregnancy though.
